How did you get started with bodybuilding
Well , when I was young I played football in Iranian champion league (league 2) and I had a week point in my calves and couldn’t jump so heigh so my coach offered me to register in a bodybuilding gym and work on my calves . After 2 or 3 months I found that I feel like bodybuilding and making muscles. So I left the Footbal forever and stuck to making muscles
Where does your motivation come from?
My motivation comes from all the people I have inspired to exercise. The same people who send me emails saying they have lost 20lbs or joined a gym because of me. I feel as if I have a duty/obligation to these people and that is my motivation. This is what pushes me to go to the gym and diet every day.
What has been your biggest accomplishment in the powerlifting and bodybuilding field?
My biggest accomplishments in powerlifting are winning 1 world raw deadlift championship hitting the world record in WPC congress.

UAE AND OMAN STUDENTS WIN ICE-21 GCC VIRTUAL HACKATHON
ProjectSet, a London-based edtech enterprise, today announced the winners of Innovation Challenge for Entrepreneurship 2021 (ICE-21) – a virtual hackathon on Innovation and Entrepreneurship for University students in GCC. More than 250 students from 36 universities across the region participated in the hackathon with a third of the teams comprising students from multiple universities.
Four teams – Coconut Concrete, GulfAI, GulfCrypt and Social Clout – comprising students from Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, American University in Dubai, Canadian University In Dubai, Rochester Institute of Technology and Sultan Qaboos University claimed the top honours. The winners were selected by an independent panel of judges on the final day of the six-week event. The teams went through a structured program including mentor sessions, skill clinics and keynotes from partner organisations such as CEBC, MIT, Nissan, Renault, SAP and Tetrapak.
Commenting on ICE-21, Mr. Ahmed Samir Elbermbali, Managing Director of Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) said “One of the main challenges students face is that disconnect between what they study and the real-world applications and challenges. Platforms like ICE-21 fill in this gap by connecting students with the private sector to solve real challenges and get mentorship from industry leaders and open their horizons".
